Minnesota Zoo Animals to Meet State Legislators
Apple Valley, MINN – March 21, 2011 – Join Minnesota Zoo Director/CEO Lee Ehmke, staff, volunteers, and many unique animals as they thank legislators for their support during "Zoo Day at the State Capitol" on Thursday, March 24 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. The Rotunda will be "crawling" … with hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, chinchillas, bearded dragons, tarantulas and more. An eagle owl, blue-tongued skink, slow loris and armadillo will also make an appearance! The Minnesota Zoo visits the State Capitol annually to thank legislators for their support, introduce them to animals that educate guests about the environment, and talk to them about its Master Plan.
