IMAX Theatre
Visit the Great Clips IMAX Theatre during your Zoo visit and save money! Adults save $2 per ticket, children and seniors save $1. Zoo/IMAX Combo tickets available at both the Zoo and IMAX. Visit www.imax.com/minnesota for shows and times. A portion of all IMAX/Zoo combo sales supports the Minnesota Zoo Conservation Fund.

The Love Tour:  Valentine Event: February 14, 2010
Our annual Valentine event is a perfect way to spend a romantic evening out. This year’s event will again provide a glimpse into the private lives of a variety of animals. From courtship to breeding, our furry, feathered, and scaly, indulge in exotic romantic rituals. For adults only (ages 21 +) the Love Tour is a one of a kind experience. After your tour enjoy a sumptuous dinner in Discovery Bay. Online reservations start January 11. 

Tropical Beach Party: February 13-15, 2010
It’s all about the sand! Bring the whole family to our winter get away – the Tropics Trail at the Zoo. We’ll supply the music, giant indoor sandbox, palm trees, exotic animals and more.  

Farm Babies:  April 1 - 30, 2010
Meet the newest members of the Zoo family with baby chicks, piglets, lambs, calves, goat kids, bunnies, and ducklings! There will be children's activities on the weekends.  Volunteers will be available for questions and assist with "hands-on" interaction with the baby animals. 

Earthfest:  A Party for the Planet – April 17 & 18, 2010
This weekend will highlight hands-on, eco-friendly activities for everyone.  Find out more about recycling, composting, green building and sustainable living.  This family-friendly event includes music and craft activities.

Beastly Ball: Saturday, April 24, 2010

Dance the night away at the annual black-tie Zoo fundraiser.  This year's theme is “One Red Hot Night!,” which celebrates the elegant Red River Hog.  Native to sub-Saharan Africa, the Red River Hog will come to the Minnesota Zoo next summer as part of an extraordinary new exhibit, Faces of the African Forest.  Joining the Red River Hogs are colobus monkeys, hyrax, dwarf crocodiles, bats, and more!  Reservations and special fee are required.
