Curious about exploring the underwater world of diving but aren’t sure about the crazy breathing contraption and all that gear? Here’s your chance to try out SCUBA equipment in a safe and easy introduction to the sport.
(Please Note: this class is not at the Minnesota Zoo. It is at the Scuba Center in Eagan.)
Fee: $25.00/person
Cash or check only, made out to MN Zoo AAZK.
Classes are at the pool at Scuba Center in Eagan (Not at the Zoo).
Classes are limited to 16 people, first come first served. No experience is necessary. Bring a swimsuit and towel---a wetsuit is not necessary as the pool temperature is 80° F.

Important Information
Like any sport, SCUBA requires awareness and review of a persons’ medical history. Most people are A-Okay to try SCUBA, but the Scuba Center does require reviewing and filling out a few forms. To participate in this class, you must be at least 10 years old and complete the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Participant Statement (which includes a brief medical questionnaire). Certain existing medical conditions will require a signed physicians approval before you participate. You can download and review the PADI Medical Statement here.
If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature.
