Frequently asked questions about Group Reservations

Q1: What constitutes a group and do I need to make a group reservation?
A1: Groups are considered 20 or more participants and yes, advance reservations are necessary.

Q2: When do I pay?
A2: Payment is due when you check in the group with the Zoo's Guest Services Staff. One person must pay for the entire group via credit card, check, or cash in large bills.

Q3: How much is parking?
A3: Car and van parking is $5, School Bus parking $10 & Motor Coach parking is $15. The parking fee is paid when admission is paid.

Q4: How far in advance should I make a group reservation?
A4: Reservations should make it as soon as you decide on a date to come. We prefer to have group reservations made at least 1 week in advance.

Q5: May we bring our own lunches to the zoo?
A5: Yes although space is not reserved. Please inquire at Guest Services upon arrival.

Q6: How do I inform you of our exact group size? I may not know at the time I make a reservation.
A6: At the time the group reservation is made, we ask you to estimate numbers. Payment is made the day of the visit so you know exactly how many are in your group and how many you have to pay for. Once your reservation is submitted - it is not necessary to call as your numbers changes. If your group size falls below 20 individuals, you may always "buy up" to meet that minimum number.

Q7: Is there an extra charge to visit the Wells Fargo Family Farm or the Digital River Dolphin Show?
A7: No. Admission includes all exhibits at the Zoo and dolphin show seating is on a first come basis.

The Zoo Monorail is an additional charge and tickets may be purchased upon arrival.

The Great Clips IMAX Theatre offers group rates directly from their sales staff. Please contact the Imation IMAX Theatre staff directly at 952-997-9701 or 1-877-660.4629
