Minnesota Zoo Wins Marketing Excellence Awards at International Attractions Expo

Orlando, FL - The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has awarded the Minnesota Zoo two Brass Ring Awards for its marketing efforts in seasonal event marketing and radio advertising.

The Brass Ring Awards honor attractions for outstanding promotions work in various categories. “These awards complement the positive feedback of our marketing efforts from our guests,” says Bill Von Bank, Minnesota Zoo marketing director.

The seasonal marketing campaign, Africa: Summer on the Savanna and a branding radio spot were developed by Minneapolis advertising agency, Kerker.

The Zoo’s Minnesota Trail media kit also received a distinguished excellence honor.

IAAPA is the premier trade association for the attractions industry worldwide, representing zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers and amusement parks.
