Go a little wild in your classroom! The Minnesota Zoo curriculum units include concepts, learner outcomes, instructional activities, field trip ideas, vocabulary list and a bibliography. Using a foreign language, discover the general characteristics of fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals. Student Reader and Activity sheets are included in this 80-page unit. Different levels of proficiency are identified for the various activities. Units are available in French, Spanish and German.

2+2=Zoo: Math Activity Packet 1-2; 3-4; 5-6; 7-12
Create wild math activities in your classroom by discovering how zookeepers and zoo personnel use math in caring for the animals. Math topics include animal shapes, sizes, weights, speeds, diets, parental care and exhibit design. This packet contains activities and worksheets to be used in the classroom. Research Methods for Studying Animal Behavior in a Zoo Setting
This videotape, jointly produced by the Minnesota Zoo and the Washington Park Zoo, introduces novice researchers to the steps involved in behavioral research in a zoo setting. The information is useful in a variety of field and laboratory settings. The fee includes a manual and instructional suggestions for teachers. Fee: $80
