Hootin’ and Howlin’ Overnight at the Minnesota Zoo

PigletsCome down to the Minnesota Zoo and join a Zoo naturalist for a hootin’ and howlin’ good time learning about the animals and plants that call Minnesota their home. During the evening you will meet a keeper as they explain the mysteries of the gray wolf and their current status in Minnesota. Through hands-on activities you will discover the relationships Minnesota animals have within an ecosystem and how these animals have special adaptations to help with their survival. You will also take a look at the many trees that provide the animals their home. (Activities completed during overnight will meet five of the six requirements for the junior girl scouts Earth Connections badge)

Program begins on selected Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and concludes the next morning at 9:00 a.m. Maximum groups size 30 (students and chaperones)

Costs: $45/person. Includes program, evening snack, breakfast, and program t-shirt. After the conclusion of the program, participants are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day at the Minnesota Zoo.
