What You'll Need:
Printable pdf with instructions and template
White Cardstock or Small Paper Plates
White Felt
Elastic
Tape
Glue (white, gel or tacky)
Scissors

Polar paw

Instructions:
Follow the steps below to make your own Polar Paws!

Steps:
1. Draw the outline of a pair of Polar Bear Paws, approximately 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" (approx. actual size), onto white cardstock or white paper plates and cut out along outline.
2. Trace outline onto white felt and cut out along outline. You may choose to make Black or Brown Bear Paws by using the appropriate color felt. Draw paw print onto felt with a black marker (see photo).
3. Tape or glue felt to cardstock or paper plate. Allow glue to dry. Don't forget to make two paws, so you have a pair!
4. Staple elastic to either side of the paws, measuring so that they will fit over your feet. Try your Polar Paws on for size!
5. Try out your Polar Paws in a sandbox if possible. The paws act like snowshoes to help the Polar Bear walk on the snow without sinking.
