Chaperone Policy
School groups are required to bring at least one adult for every fifteen students. Failure to provide the proper ratio of chaperones to students will result in denial of admittance to the zoo. Chaperones are required to stay with the students at all times and are responsible for students’ conduct and behavior. Chaperones are asked to enforce the following rules:

  1. Do not feed the animals
  2. Do not knock on the exhibit glass or harass the animals in any way
  3. Discard trash in the proper containers
  4. Respect the rights of other zoo goers; keep voices down, no radios or in-line skates.
