Tiger Stripes and Beaver Tales—A Fur Trade Adventure
All Sessions: 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Rendezvous with the Minnesota Zoo in this camp exploring the historical era of the fur trade. We will uncover the many ways that both Native Americans and European explorers depended on animals such as beaver and lynx here in Minnesota. Then we will travel to our new Russian exhibit to learn how illegal hunting today is endangering populations of leopards and tigers.
