Zoo CampAround theWorld: An IMAX Adventure
All A.M. Sessions
Pack your bags and join us for an imaginary trip around the world’s most interesting animal habitats. We will explore the animals at the Zoo and enhance that knowledge by watching a larger-than-life movie at the Great Clips IMAX Theatre each day.
NOTE: There is a $15 additional IMAX fee.

Girls Rule!
All A.M. Sessions
Explore science and Zoo career opportunities. Through interviews with female scientists and staff at the Zoo, hands-on experiments, and animal demonstrations, girls will build their confidence with science. Learn some of the amazing ways that women are part of the scientific world.

Pizza Pig Out
All A.M. Sessions
Discover what farming and pizza have in common. Each day we will look at one of the main ingredients and explore its farm origin. We’ll also get our hands dirty working with farm animals.

Survival Training
All P.M. Sessions
How do your survival skills match up to the “fittest” in the animal kingdom? Solve the mysteries of meerkat gangs, macaque troops, and other perplexities of animal behavior using the methods of famous animal researchers. Test out your newly acquired skills during the “final challenge”—surviving a night at the Minnesota Zoo’s farm.
Note: This class is offered Monday–Thursday: 1–5 p.m. or Overnight Friday, 5 p.m.–Saturday, 8 a.m. (no Friday afternoon class) There is a $25additional overnight fee.

Wolf Myth Busters

Do wolves howl at the moon? Are wolves really big and bad? Come and decipher the truth about how they live, hunt, communicate, and care for their young without blowing down houses.

ZSI
All P.M. Sessions
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to learn scientific investigation techniques to help you solve a plethora of perplexing problems here at the Zoo! Each day, your ZSI team will be assigned a new mission. Gather evidence to convict a culprit. Are you up for the challenge?
