Kaziranga wildlifeKaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park is located in the far eastern state of Assam. Tigers, elephants, and water buffalo live in the park. It is also the last home of the one-horned rhino. Kaziranga's forests and tall grasses make an ideal habitat for tigers.

However, the park is threatened in many ways. Villagers are poaching wild animals within the park. Tea plantations are polluting park waters with pesticides, damaging the delicate food chains. Park managers have asked for more land to be added to the park to protect the wildlife, but these requests have been denied.
