Join the Pack! Explorers ($500+)
Tuesday, August 23, 2011, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All Ages
Come meet the gray wolves of the Minnesota Trail and learn about their diets, behavior, and the latest on their conservation status from one of their keepers. You’ll see enrichment in action and get all your wolf questions answered!

Animals of Central and South America Voyagers ($250+)
Wednesday, September 14, 2011, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All Ages
The Zoo is home to a number of animals from Central and South America, from the slow-motion sloth to high-energy tamarins, and you’ll be amazed by all you learn about them tonight! Zoo Education employee Melanie Sorensen will share her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm with a presentation and hands-on activities. We’ll also meet some of the animals!

Party with the Penguins Naturalists ($1,000+)
Saturday, November 12, 2011, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Ages 12+
After all the anticipation, the penguins are finally here! This is your chance to meet their keepers and learn about their biology, behavior, and conservation status. We’ll also go behind-the-scenes for a special visit.

Soar with the Bird Show Voyagers ($250+)
Friday, January 27, 2012, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All Ages
Get a unique view of the KAYTEE World of Birds Show in their new winter home, the Target Learning Center. Meet the trainers and their avian charges up close and learn about techniques used to prepare the birds for the show. You may even meet some of the Show’s undiscovered, soon-to-be stars! Don’t forget your camera —photo opportunities will be available.

Moose Mysteries Voyagers ($250+)
Saturday, March 24, 2012, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Ages 12+
Moose have lived at the Minnesota Zoo since we opened in 1978 with that memorable moose logo. In the past several years, we also have been working more extensively with moose conservation efforts through a partnership with a researcher at the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Natural Resources Research Institute. Today we’ll learn about moose and their conservation status in Minnesota, and we’ll pay a visit to our resident moose.

Friends Farm Babies Voyagers ($250+)
Monday, April 16, 2012, 4:15 – 7:00 p.m.
All Ages
Visit the farm as it gets ready for spring! Join us for this special Friends Farm Babies at the Wells Fargo Family Farm, without the crowds of a regular Zoo day. You and your family will enjoy close interactions with chicks, piglets, lambs, calves, goat kids, and rabbits. End the evening around the bonfire, complete with s’mores!

Bears and Otters of Russia’s Grizzly Coast Explorers ($500+)
Tuesday, June 12, 2012, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Ages 12+
Come meet the Zoo’s sea otters and grizzly bears! See their behind-the-scenes accommodations, watch animal enrichment in action, and learn more about these playful and charismatic animals and how we care for them.
