Round and round and up and down!  Smiles, laughter, happiness – all part of the magical and infectious joy that will fill you when you ride the Minnesota Zoo’s new Conservation Carousel, opening in spring 2014. 

Destined to bring endless enjoyment to riders of all ages, the Conservation Carousel will capture the hearts and minds of Zoo guests and support conservation programs, furthering the Zoo’s long-standing commitment to wildlife. 

Be part of this historic moment at the Minnesota Zoo!  The Conservation Carousel provides you with a unique opportunity to honor a family member or a loved one by sponsoring one of the carousel animals today!

Featuring 56 animals, each hand-carved by skilled artisans, the carousel includes species found at the Minnesota Zoo, including tiger, leopard, beaver, bison, and bobcat.  The carousel also includes rare and endangered species from around the world, including a lion, rhino, zebra and gorilla.  Two ADA-accessible chariots will provide seating for two for those who wish to ride with a friend: one with a majestic bull moose and the other with a colorful butterfly.

Your lifetime sponsorship of a carousel animal or decorative panel includes a custom recognition plaque, creating a lasting testament to your commitment to conservation while honoring your family and loved ones.  Benches located around the carousel also will be available.

Proceeds from the Conservation Carousel will support local, national and international Minnesota Zoo conservation programs.
