Species
Description: The largest of all cats, body length up to
2.8 m (110 in), tail up to 95.3 cm (37.5 in). Rounded head has
a convex profile. Ears are rounded and are black on the outside
with a white center area. Eyes are yellowish. Hair longer on cheeks
and neck. Coloration is reddish yellow to rust brown on the upper
side, white underneath. Body is covered by black stripes. Young
are similar in appearance.
